This small picture is an original linprint, painted with acrylic paints, and is of one of my favourite things to find on the beach.
I am reliably informed that they are the empty egg cases of dogfish, which would be exciting enough since dogfish are sharks!
But of course, what they actually are is the lost or discarded purses of mermaids. How lovely is that?!
My mermaid-inspired linoprints are also available on this site.
I don't keep a lot of stock so most items ordered are created to order so please allow time for them to be prited, painted, packed and posted.
Items may be sent in recycled packaging
In 2009, my family and I saved a Highland Bull from being killed by the Country Park in Cambrdgeshire where he lived with his herd.
The amazing Hillside Animal Sanctuary took him in when we had secured his release, and he has lived at their sanctuary in Norfolk ever since.
Fergus costs them a lot of money, and so we will donate 10% of the profit from the sale of this item to Hillside to support their wonderful work.
