"ENDLESS SUMMER DAYS" ORIGINAL PRINT. Beach huts dreaming in the sun on the South Coast.
Jaunty and individual, these peculiarly British little wooden huts are an iconic part of the scenery of British beaches. I've always loved beach huts ever since I was a child on holiday in Norfolk- my sister and I used to spend ages choosing which was our favourite beach hut and then pretending we owned it!
I created this print of beach huts basking in the sun on the East Sussex Coast from an original drawing, and then printed it in vegan-friendly black ink on white card. I also have, in a separate listing, a coloured version of this print, but I offer an unpainted version as I like the way the slightly battered texture of the huts is more evident in this one..after all these little huts are the descendants of the Victorian bathing machines- they have some history behind them!
The visible design is 9 inches wide and 6 inches high; I have put this in an A4 cream cardboard mount with a 9X6" aperture, ready to be framed in an A4 frame.
We are animal lovers and have spent many years involved in widlife rescue and so we will donate 10% of the profit from the sale of this item to wildlife rescue- either Hitchin Squirrel Rescue or Hedgehog Cabin rescue, to support their wonderful work.
