I think the De La Warr Pavilion is the most beautiful modern building in Britain; the pavilion is an iconic example of Modernist architechture built in the beautiful county of East Sussex in 1935 and this design is my homage to its unusual beauty. I had always thought that the Pavilion was the first major Modernist public building in Britain, it was preceded by some months by the Dutch-influenced Hornsey Town Hall.
This cream canvas pouch is handprinted with the image of the Pavilion and then handpainted, all with vegan-friendly inks, which are heat sealed and thus washable.
The pouch measures 14cm by 20cm.
If, like me, you are an admirer of the De La Warr Pavilion, I have several other items listed which also feature prints created from line drawings of the Pavilion,, including wooden fridge magnets and keyrings, handprinted greetings cards and handorinted cotton t shirts.
I print two different versions of this: one monochrome and the other with a lovely blue East Sussex sky in the background.
Price includes UK postage and packing; please inquire for price if you require overseas postage.I handprint these to order so please allow a few days for the magic to happen.
