This avocet print is an original linoprint handpainted with acrylics and is approx 15 x 20 cm and comes in a cardboard mount ready for framing.
I have always loved avocets and saw them as a child at the nature reserve at Minsmere in East Anglia and I did this piece because I saw one of these exquisite birds at Glyne Gap,, soon after I moved to sunny Sussex.
Please allow a few days to reeive your picture, as I don't keep a lot of stock and the pieces are usually created to order.
Your artwork will be similar to but not identical to the one on the picture as every print from a lino block is unique and each piece is hand-painted
Orders will arrive in re-used,recycled packaging because there is no Planet B.
In 2009, my family and I saved a Highland Bull from being killed by the Country Park in Cambrdgeshire where he lived with his herd.
The amazing Hillside Animal Sanctuary took him in when we had secured his release, and he has lived at their sanctuary in Norfolk ever since.
Fergus costs them a lot of money, and so we will donate 10% of the profit from the sale of this item to Hillside to support their wonderful work.
