I Heart Hedgehogs, hand-printed hedgehog t shirt, wildlife benefit.

I love hedgehogs- and I'm guessing you do as well! 

This is an original beg-for-mercy.com design (which will also be available from beg-for-mercy.com) hand-printed on a grey marl Fruit of the Loom t shirt in cruelty free vegan-friendly inks. I used to look after hedgehogs when I worked at an animal shelter and I still miss them- they really are enchanting creatures and we should all do our best to help them as these are hard times for these fascinating little creatures. There are a few tips below for simple ways you can accomodate hedgehogs.
Please put a shallow saucer of water out for wildlife in hot weather, that can be a lifesaver.  Never use a strimmer below knee height as you could kill or terribly maim a hedgehog,; leave a corner of your garden wild for hedgehog habitat, never stick a garden fork into a compost heap as there may be a hedgehog nest inside it, and if you are planning a bonfire, always move the timber immediately before lighting so you can be sure that there isn't a hedgehog dozing inside the pile as many hibernating or nursing hedgehogs are burned to death in garden bonfires every year. If you see a hedgehog out in the sun are probably very sick and need urgent help from a wildlife rescue that is experienced with hedgehogs.
